The gamification effect – have you had a lost weekend?

I never thought I was a ‘gamer’.  Super Mario, Tomb Raider, Angry Birds, Candy Crush were lost on me. Have you been tempted to take the week off work to ‘level up’ with Sonic the Hedgehog? No, that wasn’t me either.  Perhaps, Halo, Call of Duty or Prince of Persia were more you. What’s the pull of these games and why has gamification become big news in learning?
